    In the Name of God Amen. I Aggathy Ward of the County of Louisa being of perfect mind and memory having arrived to old age and knowing that it is appointed for all men to die and not knowing how soon it may be my lot, do this 16th day of January in the year of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ 1810 make constitute and publish this my last will and testament in manner following. That is to say I recommend my Soul to God who gave it and to Jesus Christ in whom I have a hope has died to redeem it. My body to the Earth to be decently buryed at the discretion of my Executor herein mentioned and as to the worldly goods which it hath pleased God to bless me with my will and desire is that they be disposed of as follows.

    Item. I give unto my two grand daughters Polley Ryan and Jane Ryan, daughters of Thomas Ryan and Peggy his wife one feather bed and furniture and bed stead to them and their heirs forever.

    Item. I give to my grandson Peter Ryan son to the aforesaid Thomas and Peggy one horse which horse is now in my possession to him and his heirs forever.

    Item. I give to my grand daughter Lucy Whood Tate daughter of Nath'l Tate Keziah his wife one chest and at her death my desire is that her sister Agness Tate shall have it.

    Lastly, I appoint my neighbor Thomas Gardner Executor to this my Last Will and Testament in testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year above written.
